Tiny Towns Arts Trail 2023 Art Prize

Tiny Towns Arts Trail is excited to announce a the Tiny Towns Arts Trail Art Prize will be going ahead again this year however, to make the it more interesting it will now be an open category prize instead of a portrait prize.

We are also very excited to announce a new major prize, which is a first for us and a great opportunity for artists. This year we have been lucky to partner with Community & District Maldon Bendigo Bank to create a non-acquisitive prize valued at $1000. The major prize will be awarded to a single artwork and will be decided by a panel of independent jurists.

In addition to the major prize, the Priority One Property People’s Choice Award of $300 will be awarded to the artwork that receives the most votes from the visiting public.

Because our gallery is very small and we anticipate quite a few entries, finalists will be selected from the pool of entries received by a panel of judges. Only finalists will be exhibited and unselected artworks will not be eligible for the prizes. Please see the Terms and Conditions for more details.

The Tiny Towns Arts Trail 2023 Art Prize is open to all artists and genres, and can be presented in any medium or format including (but not limited to) painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, fabric etc. up to a maximum size of 1.5 metres. Artists don’t have to live in our region to enter so be sure to let your artist friends know about this fabulous opportunity.
